Description

When Walt Disney was considering locations for a new theme park in Florida, he held discussions with John MacArthur about the up and coming City of Palm Beach Gardens. MacArthur needed some kind of industry to attract new residents and believed Disney had just the ticket. As it turned out, MacArthur’s city still thrived, despite Disney choosing to take his park to Central Florida.
